The Communications module serves as the primary system-wide announcements board and alert delivery logger, helping schools broadcast information to students, parents, and employees.

  • Instant Digital Noticeboard: Publish news, newsletters, schedules, or event details directly to the dashboard.
  • Audit-Proof Dispatch Log: Keeps detailed logs of email/SMS dispatches, helping verify when notifications were sent.
  • Targeted Audiences: Publish notices scoped to specific groups (e.g., Teachers only, Parents only, or all users).

📅 When to Use This Module?

  • School Events: Broadcasting announcements about sports days, exams, holidays, or meetings.
  • Emergency Alerts: Sending urgent emails or SMS alerts about unexpected changes.
  • Public Communications: Reviewing the dispatch status of institutional campaigns.

📖 How to Use

  1. Posting Notices: Go to Notice Board, type the announcement title and body, choose target filters (e.g., all, staff, parents), and click submit to publish.
  2. Sending Push Alerts: In Push Alerts, type quick notifications to dispatch SMS or emails to specific class groups.
  3. Tracking Deliveries: Check the log inside the Dispatch Log table to review delivery timestamps, recipients, and message statuses.
