The Library Management plugin automates book catalogs, issue logs, returns, reservation requests, and late fee processing.

  • Digital Book Catalog: Catalog and search books by ISBN, title, author, subject, or publisher.
  • Traceable Transactions: Complete audit log of issued books, due dates, and return records.
  • Auto-calculated Fines: Automatically checks return dates and appends late fees to the student's finance invoices.

  • Daily Library Hours: Issuing books to students or staff and processing returned books.
  • Inventory Verification: Reviewing lost books, updating stock, or importing new collections.

📖 How to Use

  1. Cataloging Books: Add single book details, volumes, copies, and rack locations inside the Book Inventory Directory.
  2. Issuing Books: Go to Issue/Return Desk, search the student or staff member by name/ID, type the book name, select the return due date, and hit Issue.
  3. Processing Returns: In Issue/Return Desk, select the borrower's profile, click Return on their active issues list, and record condition states.
  4. Fines Collection: Fines are automatically calculated upon late returns based on your configuration parameters and forwarded to the Finance ledger.
