Student Management Module

The Student Management module is the central repository for all student profiles, registrations, and academic lifecycle records. It acts as the single source of truth for student records, from admission to graduation or transfer.

  • Admissions Module (Optional Link): Promoted applications from the Admissions pipeline automatically register new student profiles.

💡 Why Use This Module?

  • Centralized Digital Folders: Keeps personal details, academic history, emergency contacts, and uploaded files in one organized record.
  • Efficient Term Promotions: Supports bulk-promoting hundreds of students across classes and sections simultaneously, reducing administrative effort.
  • Official Document Compliance: Handles official Transfer Certificates (TC) and generates printable student reports directly from the system.
  • Bulk Data Portability: Allows exporting the entire student directory as CSV for government reporting or external backups.

📅 When to Use This Module?

  • Onboarding & Registration: Adding new students to the school database during admission periods.
  • Academic Year Transition: Bulk-promoting students to their next grades at the end of the term.
  • Student Transfers: Issuing official Transfer Certificates (TC) when a student exits the school.

📖 How to Use

  1. Adding Students: Add single student records manually under the Admission Pipeline view, or bulk-import profiles.
  2. Managing Files: Select any student from the Student Directory, go to the documents tab, and upload files to the Document Upload Vault.
  3. Bulk Promotions: Select target classes/sections in the Bulk Promotion Utility, select student records, and hit promote to move them to the next grade level.
  4. Issuing TC: Open the student's detail card, click Issue TC (requires Principal role), and download the formal certificate.
